Ears feeling blocked?
Excessive earwax in the ear-canal is one of the most common sources of complaint relating to poor hearing. Signs you may be suffering from earwax blocking you ear include;
- Temporary hearing loss
It is important for excessive wax to be removed from the ear when it interferes with the performance of the hearing aid. A non-hearing aid user can get by with excessive wax as long as it does not block the ear canal. At Pure Hearing we can offer wax removal from the comfort of your own home.
- £35 for one ear
- £50 for two
Irrigation wax removal is where wax is removed with a syringe-like tool. This tool will be used to insert into the ear to flush out the wax. You may feel slight discomfort from the water in your ear or from holding your ear in place.
As part of our commitment to provide our patients with the very best hearing care here at Pure Hearing we are pleased to offer irrigation wax removal. Our Audiologist James has been trained to the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists standard in Clinical Earcare so you can feel confident in the care you receive.
